a.pe.ri.od.ic ensemble (Chicago, IL), an experimental music ensemble, received a grant in February to present Annea Lockwood Portrait Concert in the Frequency Festival at Constellation in Chicago, IL on February 28.
Ka Baird (Brooklyn, NY), a multi-instrumentalist and composer, received a grant in March to present Vivification Exercises at The Kitchen in New York, NY on April 3 and 4.
Jacqueline Bobak (Valencia, CA), a singer and composer, received a grant in January to present Dada Divas at REDCAT in Los Angeles, on February 8.
Dafna Naphtali (Brooklyn, NY), a musician and composer, received a grant in February to perform with Spanish percussionist Luis Tabuenca at Phonos in Barcelona, Spain; Exploratorium in Berlin; DOCK 4 in Kassel; and C.U.B.A. in Münster, Germany, February 17-22.
Carmelo Pampillonio (Asheville, NC), a sound artist and composer, received a grant in January to present Librations at Fylkingen in Stockholm, Sweden, on February 16.
Anna Webber (Astoria, NY), a flautist, saxophonist, and composer, received a grant in March to support a tour of her ensemble Simple Trio to Wheaton College in Norton, MA; Bowerbird in Philadelphia, PA; and the Jazz Gallery in New York, NY, April 13-17.
